The Sky also has Le Bistro which is French cuisine and Il Adagio which is Italian fare. I did not dine in either of those on this trip but I have on other NCL ships and enjoyed both. Well, its hard to be positive after staying previously in a balcony cabin or suites; however, interior cabin was well maintained and clean, claustrophobic. Overall, cabin seemed something like a European efficient apartment but would definitely meet the needs of cruisers that spend the majority of time outside cabin.

While many cruise ships offer Broadway-style performances in their theaters, that’s not what you’ll get on Norwegian Sky. Instead, its entertainment is mostly relegated to music and live music shows. 5 days felt about a day too long and I can see why she is ideal for the 3-4 day cruises. The ship is immaculate and the common area decor is sleek and modern. The service and crew were also excellent and we were extremely impressed with the impeccable service and friendliness. I'd compare the level to service experience to Seabourn, they were that good. We'd only done one previous NCL cruise prior to this, (we are Celebrity fans) and will absolutely book our next cruise on NCL, just a larger ship with more space.

The balcony staterooms are your best bet for the most comfort and style without upgrading to a suite. The color palette and design scheme is still the same, but you get extra floor space, a seating area, bar area, entertainment space and, of course, a balcony. Over the years we saw the island being slowly developed, yet maintaining its charm. To our surprise NCL has definitely improved the island’s beach areas and facilities while maintaining its charm. We did not pay extra to access the luxury lagoon area and cabanas, so I can not comment on this new area.
